Wed, May 23, 2007 - 2:58 PMTentative date for first practice/group meetup is Saturday, 26 May 2007 from 9am - 1130am. We'll meet at the Aztec-themed stage near 7th and T. I'll be the guy with all the juggling gear with him :)
This is tentative only because I the park is public, and I have no exclusive reservation - and last weekend was a Cultural Festival that took the whole thing over - we can also pour over into my backyard, since I live about a block away from the meetup.
How's that sound? -

Juggling and poi gear are available for use at the practice sessions, and basic instruction is always an option... anyone coming for certain? -

UPDATE: New DRYRUN Practice Hours
Fri, June 8, 2007 - 12:49 PMI've been having trouble making it out there by 9am on Saturdays, so I'm pushing this back to 10am - 1130am.. hopefully, this will make it a little more accessible for everyone :)
As a sidebar, please note that nobody is expected to be there for the whole time period (except me, of course), and there is NO CHARGE for this practice - we do not have overhead, so there are no fees to pass on. We will, in time, be offering a variety of poi and juggling gear for sale to help keep the Pyros going - but not yet!
So, tell your friends, tell your family, tell the strangers you pass on the street - free lessons! (to be fair, I teach the same way I learned - here're the tools, this is how not to kill yourself, go play.. more detailed instruction to be provided as needed.).
